A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-200, registration N858NW performing flight DL-87 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Detroit,MI (USA), was accelerating for takeoff from Frankfurt's runway 07C when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 140 knots over ground) when an engine (PW4168) ingested a bird. The aircraft slowed safely and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Frankfurt about 9 hours after the rejected takeoff.
