A Xfly Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines, registration ES-ATE performing flight SK-649 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Hamburg (Germany), landed on Hamburg's runway 23 at about 15:00L (13:00Z) however during the rollout the nose gear rotated by 90 degrees causing the nose tyres to burst. The aircraft came to a stop on the runway and was disabled.

The passengers disembarked onto the runway and were bussed to the terminal.
