An ANZ Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9, registration ZK-NZH performing flight NZ-1082 (dep Jan 26th) from Christchurch (New Zealand) to Guangzhou (China), was enroute at FL360 about 130nm south of Hong Kong (China) when the crew decided to divert to Hong Kong due to a cracked windshield. The aircraft landed safely on Hong Kong's runway 07R about 55 minutes after leaving FL360.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Hong Kong about 25 hours after landing.
