A Serene Air Airbus A330-200, registration AP-BNG performing flight ER-504 from Karachi to Islamabad (Pakistan), was on approach to Islamabad's runway 28L when a bird impacted the landing gear of the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 28L.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Islamabad about 25 hours after landing.
