A Delta Airlines Boeing 717-200, registration N988AT performing flight DL-1253 from Madison,WI to Atlanta,GA (USA), was on final approach to Atlanta's runway 08L when the crew went around advising their nose gear was not showing down and locked. The aircraft repositioned for another approach and landed safely on runway 08L about 15 minutes after the go around.

The aircraft departed for the next flight after about 70 minutes on the ground.
