A Nordstar Avion de Transport Regional ATR-42-500, registration VQ-BKP performing flight TYA-11 from Novosibirsk to Ekaterinburg (Russia) with 29 passengers and 3 crew, was climbing out of Novosbirisk when the crew received indication that the nose gear doors did not close after retracting the gear. The crew decided to return to Novosibirsk, performed a low approach to have the landing gear checked (in the retracted position), which showed the gear was retracted and the doors were closed, the crew subsequently positioned for a safe landing back to Novosibirsk.

Rosaviatsia created a commission to investigate the occurrence.
