An Iberia Airbus A321-200, registration EC-ITN performing flight IB-516 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Madrid,SP (Spain), was rotating for takeoff from Heathrow's runway 27R when an engine (CFM56) malfunctioned. The aircraft stopped the climb at 4000 feet, the crew declared emergency and returned to Heathrow for a safe landing on runway 27L about 14 minutes later.

The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
