An Uzbekistan Airways Boeing 787-8, registration UK78701 performing flight HY-603 from Tashkent (Uzbekistan) to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia), was on approach to Moscow descending through 4000 feet when the crew reported problems with the flaps, climbed back to 4000 and 5000 feet and entered a hold to troubleshoot the problem. The aircraft subsequently landed safely on Domodedovo's runway 32L at a higher than normal speed (about 180 knots over ground) about 25 minutes later.

The aircraft remained on the ground for 2.5 hours, then departed for the return flight to Tashkent.
