The aircraft was to take the soccer team of Santa Clara (Portugal) to Ljubljana (Slovenia) for their UEFA Europa Conference League qualitification match scheduled to take place on Aug 12th 2021.
A replacement CRJ-1000 registration 9H-LKF was dispatched to Porto and arrived with a delay of about 5 hours and is currently on the way to Slovenia.
