An Endeavor Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N981EV performing flight DL-5159 from Atlanta,GA to Valdosta,GA (USA), was climbing out of Atlanta's runway 09L when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet due to a gear disagree indication and decided to return to Atlanta for a safe landing on runway 09R about 25 minutes after departure, the crew affirmed a tower query whether steering and everything was okay. The aircraft taxied to the apron.

A replacement CRJ-200 registration N8894A reached Valdosta with a delay of 110 minutes.
