An Azul Linhas Aereas Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PR-AQE performing flight AD-4316 from Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP to Uberlandia,MG (Brazil) with 70 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing out of Viracopos' runway 33 when the crew retracted the flaps however received a message "FLAPS RH JAMMED", the left hand flaps indicated position 0 degrees, the right hand flaps indicated position 15 degrees. The crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet, worked the related checklists and returned to Viracopos' runway 33 for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the aircraft suffered no damage. The occurrence was rated an incident.
