A UPS United Parcel Service Boeing 767-300, registration N316UP performing flight 5X-807 from Billings,MT to Denver,CO (USA), was climbing out of Billings' runway 10L when the crew requested to level off at 12000 feet to run checklists on an issue. The crew subsequently decided to return to Billings reporting they had a cargo door open indication, the aircraft handled normally however, hence it appeared to be a sensor problem only. The crew a few minutes later advised that the indication had gone out. The aircraft landed safely on Billings' runway 10L about 35 minutes after departure.
