An Azul Linhas Aereas Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PR-AKI performing flight AD-4675 from Belem,PA to Sao Luiz,MA (Brazil) with 61 passengers and 4 crew, was descending towards Sao Luiz when a windshield cracked also affecting the cabin pressurization. The crew declared PAN PAN, worked the checklist items and rapidly descended to FL100. The aircraft continued for a safe landing in Sao Luiz.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the aircraft sustained minor damage, the occurrence was rated an incident without investigation.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Sao Luiz about 80 hours after landing.
