A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BMX performing flight PK-352 from Karachi to Quetta (Pakistan), was in the initial climb out of Karachi's runway 07R when the crew requested to stop climb at FL050 and enter a hold to check some parameters. The crew subsequently advised they were still waiting for advise from their maintenance department and climbed to FL070. The crew subsequently requested to return to Karachi requesting one of the runways 25 (active runways still 07) advising they had "some fault" and were performing a precautionary return. The aircraft landed safely on Karachi's runway 25L about 25 minutes after departure.
