A Skywest Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N930EV performing flight DL-4233 from Great Falls,MT to Salt Lake City,UT (USA), was on final approach to Salt Lake City's runway 34L about 2nm before touchdown when a bird impacted the nose cone. The aircraft continued for a safe landing about a minute later.

The FAA reported the aircraft received unknown damage to the nose cone.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Salt Lake City about 38 hours after landing.
