An Azul Linhas Aereas Boeing 737-400, registration PR-AJZ performing positioning flight AD-9000 from Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP to Manaus,AM (Brazil) with 2 crew, was climbing out of Viracopos when the crew stopped the climb at FL110 due to problems with the cabin pressure. The crew worked the related checklists without resolving the problem and decided to return to Viracopos for a safe landing about 30 minutes after departure.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the use of oxygen masks wasn't necessary, the crew did not declare emergency. No investigation was opened into the incident.
