A Pobeda Boeing 737-800, registration VP-BPK performing flight DP-201 from Moscow Vnukovo to St. Petersburg (Russia), was on final approach to St. Petersburg's runway 28R when the crew was instructed to go around after a dog was observed on the runway. The crew went around, positioned for another approach and landed on runway 28R about 10 minutes later after a runway inspection found no dog or other obstacle on the runway.
