An Aeronaves TSM Douglas DC-9-30 freighter, registration XA-UZJ performing flight VTM-384 from Detroit Willow Run,MI (USA) to Queretaro (Mexico), had taxied to runway 27 via taxiway E1 and was accelerating for takeoff from runway 27 when the crew needed to reject takeoff at 12:57L (17:57Z). The aircraft either did not turn left to line up the runway or veered to the right off the runway and came to a stop with all gear off the runway around about 90 degrees off the runway heading. There were no injuries. The aircraft was disabled, works to dig the aircraft's main gear out are under way.
