S7 A319 at Novokuznetsk on Nov 7th 2012, dropped nosewheel

A S7 Sibir Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration VP-BTS performing flight S7-809 from Moscow Domodedovo to Novokuznetsk (Russia) with 112 passengers and 7 crew, completed a seemingly uneventful flight with a safe landing and taxied to the apron. Ground staff noticed however the left nose wheel was completely missing from the axle.

Runway inspections at Moscow and Novokznetsk did not find any trace of the wheel, that however had been attached during walk around at Domodedovo Airport.

Rosaviatsia confirmed that after reaching the stand the left hand nose wheel was found missing. An investigation has been opened.
