A Lufthansa Cityline Canadair CRJ-900, registration D-ACNG performing flight LH-2090 from Munich to Hanover (Germany) with 13 passengers, was climbing out of Munich's runway 08L when the crew reported the aircraft received a bird strike against the captain's windscreen about abeam taxiway A9 (about 2100 meters/7000 feet down the runway) prompting the crew to stop the climb at FL070 and to return to Munich for a safe landing on runway 08L about 11 minutes after departure.
