A Rossiya Boeing 777-300, registration EI-GEU performing flight SU-6295 from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Denpasar (Indonesia), was enroute at FL310 about 65nm west of Samara (Russia) when the crew decided to return to Moscow after the crew received "TRUST ASSYM COMP" and "L ENG CONTROL" messages. The aircraft descended to FL300 and landed safely back in Moscow Sheremetyevo about 80 minutes after turning around.

Rosaviatsia reported they have opened an investigation.
