A Nordica Canadair CRJ-900 on behalf of LOT Polish Airlines, registration ES-ACB performing flight LO-456 from Stockholm (Sweden) to Warsaw (Poland) with 28 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 110nm south of Stockholm when the crew drifted the aircraft down to FL250 due to an engine (CF34) failure, shut the engine down, turned around and returned to Stockholm for a safe landing about one hour after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Stockholm about 61 hours after landing back.
