The airline reported: "Jambojet flight JM8656 had a bird strike as it landed at the Kisumu International Airport. As a result, one of our passengers sustained a minor finger injury which was treated."
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Kisumu for about 25 hours before positioning back to Nairobi and remained on the ground in Nairobi for another 14 hours before returning to service.
