A Skywest Canadair CRJ-900 on behalf of Delta, registration N817SK performing flight DL-3705 from Detroit,MI to San Antonio,TX (USA), was enroute at FL340 about 70nm north of Memphis,TN (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Memphis due to a hydraulic failure. On approach to Memphis the crew advised they would need to perform an alternate gear extension, they were planning for a low approach to check whether the landing gear was down, and they would have no nosegear steering. The aircraft performed a low approach to Memphis' runway 36C, emergency services reported both main and nose gear appeared to be down and in position. The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 36C and landed safely.

A replacement CRJ-900 registration N825SK reached San Antonio with a delay of about 6 hours.
