A TUI Airways Boeing 737-800 on behalf of TUI Nordic, registration G-TAWK performing flight 6B-624 from Tenerife South,CI (Spain) to Dublin (Ireland), had departed Tenerife's runway 07 and was on approach to Dublin when the crew reported they suspected a tyre was blown. The aircraft landed safely on Dublin's runway 28 with emergency services in attendance and vacated the runway. Emergency services reported all looked okay on the gear and tyres.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service the following morning after about 14 hours on the ground.
