An Air Fast Congo Let L-410, registration 9S-GDX performing a charter flight from Lubumbashi to Kamina (DR Congo) carrying provincial deputies back to Kamina, landed on Kamina's dirt runway 28 but suffered an unexpected violent pitch visibly throwing a lot of dirt up into the air, upon the nose coming back down the nose gear collapsed. The aircraft subsequently veered right off the runway and came to a stand still past a drainage ditch with all gear off the runway. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained substantial damage to nose and nose gear.

The officials reported the condition of the dirt runway following recent rains might have caused the accident.
