A Qantas Airbus A330-200, registration VH-EBF performing flight QF-119 from Brisbane,QL (Australia) to Auckland (New Zealand), was accelerating for takeoff from Brisbane's runway 19 when the crew rejected takeoff at low speed (about 30 knots over ground) and stopped. Tower cancelled the takeoff clearance and instructed the crew to taxi forward and vacate the runway at the next exit A3. The aircraft vacated the runway and returned to the apron.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 3 hours, then departed and reached Auckland with a delay of 3 hours.

A passenger reported the crew initially attempted to solve the problem via checklists while holding on a taxiway, then the aircraft returned to the gate. Passengers were told the delay would be short as the electrical issue would be an easy fix. It appeared the electrical issue was related to the air conditioning, while several attempts to fix the problem failed cabin temperature rose, the ambient temperature outside was 30 degrees Celsius. After about 3 hours the aircraft finally departed.
