A Peach Aviation Airbus A320-200, registration JA806P performing flight MM-808 from Seoul (South Korea) to Tokyo Haneda (Japan) with 170 people on board, had touched down on Haneda's runway 34L and was in the roll out when a vehicle performing a runway inspection on crossing runway 04/22 crossed runway 34L. The aircraft rolled out without further incident, the vehicle continued to travel along runway 04/22.

Japan's Ministry of Transport rated the occurrence a serious incident and dispatched two investigators on site. The work vehicle was inspecting runway 04/22 and accidentally, without ATC clearance, entered and crossed runway 34L. The minimum distance between aircraft and vehicle was 1000 meters/3300 feet.

Runway 04/22 intersects runway 34L about 2830 meters/9,290 feet down runway 34L.
