South Africa's CAA reported on Oct 29th 2019, that the crew shut the engine down and discharged the fire extinguisher as precautionary measure following "irregular vibrations" and increasing EGT. The crew declared PAN PAN and continued for a safe landing with emergency services on stand by.
The occurence aircraft remained on the ground in Johannesburg until Jun 16th 2019, then positioned back to Zurich and returned to service.
