One piece of passenger luggage was missing triggering rumours of somebody had tried to rob the aircraft.
The occurrence aircraft departed for the return flight after about 100 minutes on the ground.
On Oct 12th 2019 Nigeria's Civil Aviation Authority (FAAN) reported there was no attempted robbery or theft. The cargo door probably sprung open due to a rough landing. Security personnel escorted the aircraft, there was nobody near the aircraft. The missing piece of luggage had been left behind in Casablanca and was retrieved there.
