A Swiss International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration HB-IJL performing flight LX-2159 from Palma Mallorca,SP (Spain) to Zurich (Switzerland), was climbing out of Mallorca's runway 24R when the crew stopped the climb at 7000 feet due to a cargo door indication. The aircraft returned to Mallorca for a safe landing on runway 24L about 30 minutes after departure.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 90 minutes, then departed again and reached Zurich with a delay of about 2 hours.

The airline confirmed a cargo door indication prompted the return to Palma Mallorca.
