A Skywest Canadair CRJ-700 on behalf of United, registration N791SK performing UA-5355 from Dayton,OH to Denver,CO (USA) with 24 people on board, was climbing out of Dayton when the crew stopped the climb at about FL230, descended the aircraft back to 10,000 feet reporting cabin pressurization issues and decided to divert to Indianapolis,IN (USA), where the aircraft landed safely about 25 minutes after stopping the climb.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Indianapolis for about 24 hours, then returned to service.
