An ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 737-700, registration JA03AN performing flight NH-876 from Hong Kong (China) to Nagoya (Japan) with 53 people on board, was enroute at FL410 about 150nm south of Fukuoka (Japan) when the crew needed to shut the left hand engine (CFM56) down. The aircraft diverted to Fukuoka for a safe landing on runway 34 about 45 minutes later and taxied to the apron.

Japan's Ministry of Transport reported Fukuoka's runway was temporarily closed as result of the emergency landing.
