A Wizzair Airbus A320-200, registration HA-LPZ performing flight W6-1751 from Gdansk (Poland) to Turku (Finland) with about 170 people on board, was on approach to Turku maintaining 5000 feet MSL when the aircraft received a lightning strike. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 08 about 18 minutes later.

The aircraft was unable to continue its schedule and is still on the ground in Turku about 9 hours after landing.
