A Skywest Canadair CRJ-900, registration N689CA performing flight DL-4003 from Minneapolis,MN to San Antonio,TX (USA), was enroute at FL340 about 60nm northwest of Tulsa,OK (USA) when the crew reported a cracked windshield and diverted to Tulsa for a safe landing about 20 minutes later.

A replacement CRJ-900 registration N809SK reached San Antonio with a delay of about 7.5 hours.

The airline reported the outer layer of the windshield cracked. The aircraft landed safely, the passengers disembarked normally and were sent to San Antonio on another aircraft.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Tulsa about 29 hours after landing.
