A GoAir Airbus A320-200, registration VT-WAF performing flight G8-7001 from Bangalore to Delhi (India) with 151 people on board, was enroute at FL380 about 60nm westsouthwest of Nagpur when the crew initiated a rapid descent and diverted the aircraft to Nagpur due to problems with the cabin pressure. The aircraft landed safely in Nagpur about 25 minutes after leaving FL380.

The airline reported the aircraft diverted to Nagpur after the crew suspected a technical glitch in the air conditioning systems. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
