An Austrian Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration OE-LGO performing flight OS-785 from Vienna (Austria) to Sibiu (Romania), landed in Sibiu on schedule however burst the inboard right main gear tyre on landing. The aircraft taxied to the apron.

The return flight was cancelled.

The airline confirmed the return flight OS-786 had to be cancelled due to tyre damage, a number of the 41 passengers were rebooked onto another flight via Munich (Germany) and the majority of passengers onto the next day's flight.
