A United Boeing 757-200, registration N17104 performing flight UA-65 from Lisbon (Portugal) to Newark,NJ (USA), was enroute at FL330 about 600nm westnorthwest of Lisbon when the crew decided to return to Lisbon reporting a cracked windshield. The crew descended the aircraft to FL190 for the return and landed safely back in Lisbon about 3.5 hours after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Lisbon about 8 hours after landing back.
