A search of aircraft and passengers revealed no suspicious items.
Authorities reported the information was subsequently identified as fabricated, the person submitting that information has been arrested.
The aircraft, enroute from Istanbul (Turkey) to Beijing via Urumqi, was released to continue the flight and is estimated to reach Beijing with a delay of 6.5 hours.
