A Spicejet de Havilland Dash 8-400, flight SG-2976 from Ahmedabad to Jodhpur (India) with 79 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing out of Ahmedabad when the crew stopped the climb at FL150 due to a problem with the cabin pressure and decided to return to Ahmedabad. The aircraft landed safely back.

The flight was cancelled.

The aircraft had departed with a delay of about 4 hours due to maintenance working on a problem.

The airline reported flight SG-2976 returned to Ahmedabad due to a technical issue. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights via Mumbai, where the passengers were taken to hotels and continued to Jodhpur the following day due to sunset restrictions at Jodhpur.
