The aircraft had departed with a delay of about 4 hours due to maintenance working on a problem.
The airline reported flight SG-2976 returned to Ahmedabad due to a technical issue. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights via Mumbai, where the passengers were taken to hotels and continued to Jodhpur the following day due to sunset restrictions at Jodhpur.
