An American Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration N391AA performing flight AA-52 from Philadelphia,PA (USA) to Prague (Czech Republic), was enroute at FL350 about 20nm northeast of Nantucket,MA (USA) when the crew decided to return to Philadelphia due to indications of a hydraulic leak as well as loss of hydraulic pressure on the center hydraulic system. The aircraft performed an overweight landing on Philadelphia's runway 09R and due to remnants of Hurricane Michael touched down hard.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 22 hours before returning to service.
