An Andes Lineas Aereas Boeing 737-800, registration LV-HKZ performing flight OY-571 from Buenos Aires Aeroparque,BA to Iguazu Catarates del Iguazu,MI (Argentina) with 187 people on board, was on final approach to Iguazu's runway 31 at about 14:57L (17:57Z) when tower estimated the aircraft would not touch down within the first 2000 meters of the runway (runway length 3300 meters/10,800 feet) and instructed the crew to go around. The crew went around, positioned for another approach and landed without further incident.

Argentina's JIAAC rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
