An Orenair Boeing 737-500, registration VP-BPE performing flight R2-730 from Orenburg to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia), was climbing out of Orenburg when problems with the bleed air occurred prompting the crew to perform an emergency descent and return to Orenburg for a safe landing at Orenburg about 30 minutes after departure. The passengers were evacuated 20 minutes after landing.

Rosaviatsia reported due to problems with bleed air the aircraft performed an emergency descent and returned to Orenburg for a safe landing at 03:25Z, at 03:45Z the passengers were evacuated. An investigation has been opened, the aircraft has been put in safekeeping for the investigation.
