A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BLZ performing flight PK-319 from Islamabad to Karachi (Pakistan) with 173 people on board, was descending towards Karachi when the crew reported they had a nose gear fault indication and would need to be towed off the runway. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Karachi's runway 25R. The aircraft was towed off the runway about 20 minutes after landing.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 8.5 hours before resuming service the following morning.
