An ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 787-800, registration JA810A performing flight NH-558 from Hakodate to Tokyo Haneda (Japan) with 287 people on board, was on approach to Tokyo's Haneda Airport about 15 minutes prior to estimated landing when the crew reported the left hand engine's (Trent 1000) EGT had gone over the limit. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Haneda's runway 22 about 15 minutes later, vacated the runway and stopped on a nearby taxiway. Emergency services inspected the aircraft, the aircraft subsequently taxied to the apron.

Japan's Ministry of Transport reported the crew reported the EGT of the left hand engine was too high. The crew shut the engine down after landing at Haneda Airport.
