A Skywest USA Canadair CRJ-900 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N162PQ performing flight OO-4521/DL-4521 from Pasco,WA to Minneapolis,MN (USA), was enroute at FL370 about 50nm northwest of Helena,MT (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to 10,000 feet levelling off at 10,000 feet six minutes after leaving FL370. The aircraft diverted to Helena for a safe landing about 22 minutes after leaving FL370.

Helena Airport reported the aircraft actually did not lose cabin pressure but had a problem with the cabin pressure requiring maintenance.

A replacement CRJ-900 registration N806SK reached Minneapolis with a delay of 5.5 hours.
