A Globus Air Boeing 737-800 on behalf of S7 Sibir Airlines, registration VQ-BMG performing flight S7-3515 from Novosibirsk to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Russia) with 147 people on board, was climbing out of Novosibirsk's runway 25 when a bird impacted the windshield prompting the crew to stop the climb at FL100, burn off fuel and return to Novosibirsk for a safe landing 2:50 hours after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration VQ-BRQ reached Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky with a delay of 5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service after 15 hours on the ground in Novosibirsk.
