A Flynas Airbus A320-200, registration VP-CXF performing flight XY-702 from Madinah to Dammam (Saudi Arabia), was enroute at FL330 about 60nm west of Qassim (Saudi Arabia) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to 7000 feet due to the rapid loss of cabin pressure, the passenger oxygen masks were released. The aircraft diverted to Qassim for a safe landing about 30 minutes after leaving FL330.

Saudi Arabia's AIB rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
