A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N443WN performing flight WN-1479 from San Antonio,TX to Chicago Midway,IL (USA) with 143 people on board, was climbing out of San Antonio when the crew stopped the climb at FL210 due to a flaps problem that could not be resolved and decided to divert to Austin,TX where the aircraft landed safely about 90 minutes after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Austin about 21 hours after landing.
