A TAP Air Portugal Airbus A319-100, registration CS-TTK performing flight TP-552 from Lisbon (Portugal) to Munich (Germany), was accelerating for takeoff from Lisbon's runway 03 when the crew rejected takeoff at low speed (about 30 knots over ground) and returned the aircraft to the apron.

A passenger reported the crew rejected the takeoff about 15 seconds after the engines spooled up. The aircraft taxied to a remote location on the apron. The captain explained they had received a warning indication and therefore rejected takeoff. TAP maintenance was on their way to the aircraft to take care of the problem, in about 20 minutes more information would become available. About 45 minutes later the captain announced that the problem, a defective pump, was taking quite some time. They would therefore arrive in Munich past night curfew, the flight therefore needed to be cancelled. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights, some onto flights on May 11th only.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 13 hours later.
